Amazon Web Services Faces Outage

suffered a major outage Friday morning, affecting thousands of websites
that rely on its S3 storage and EC2 cloud computing services including

Verizon Completes SAS 70 Audits
February 14, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Telecommunications
provider Verizon Business (verizonbusiness.com)
announced on Wednesday that it has successfully completed its annual
SAS 70 Type II examination for the company's IP application hosting centers,
or Smart Centers, and Internet colocation facilities. Verizon also passed
the SAS 70 Type II examination for its remote IP application management
operations center for the third consecutive year.
